Who is responsible

Alexander Remizov, an individual based in Ukraine, is responsible for your personal data. Contact: hello@sothara.com.

What we collect

• Your date of birth and exact time of birth, which you choose on this site, the city and country of your birth and, if you wish, your name, which you write on this site, and the language of the page you ordered from, which is the language of your reading. They are sent with your order. Your name is printed on the cover of your reading and used to greet you in the email that brings it.
• Your email address, which you enter in the checkout. For a Korean reading, also whether your date of birth is a solar or lunar date and, for a lunar date, whether it fell in a leap month.
• If you order through Whop's own checkout page instead, you enter your date, time and city of birth there.
• The messages you send us by email.

Your payment details are entered in Whop's checkout and handled by Whop and its payment providers. We do not see your full card number.

Why we use it

To calculate your birth chart, prepare your reading and send it to you; to answer your messages; to handle refunds and disputes; and so that Whop can meet its legal and tax obligations for the payment. We use your birth details only to prepare your reading.

Your chart is calculated by astronomical software (Swiss Ephemeris) from your date, time and place of birth.

We process your data to carry out the contract you make when you order, in our legitimate interest in answering your questions and handling disputes, and where the law requires it.

Who receives it

• Whop (United States) runs the checkout, takes the payment, keeps the order records and hosts this website.
• Anthropic (United States) provides the writing assistant we use when we prepare your reading by our own method. Your birth details, and your name if you give one, pass through it; it is also used to look up the coordinates and time zone of your birthplace.
• Spaceship (United States) hosts our email at sothara.com, through which your reading is sent and your messages reach us.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Data outside your country

These providers are based in the United States, so your data is processed outside your country, under their own data protection terms.

How long we keep it

• Your birth details, your name, your PDF and the working files used to prepare it: deleted within 7 days after we send your reading.
• The email that carries your reading and the emails we exchange with you: kept for 6 months, as proof of delivery and to answer questions, refund requests or disputes, then deleted.
• The order and payment records that Whop keeps are held under Whop's own privacy policy; we cannot delete them from Whop.

If you ask us to prepare your reading again after your details have been deleted, you send them to us again.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The checkout on this site is Whop's, and Whop uses its own cookies and fraud prevention tools, described in Whop's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to hello@sothara.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
